Pro Bono Week
Each year, MassMutual celebrates National Pro Bono Week with speakers and activities.
Every October since 2009, legal organizations across America have participated in the American Bar Association’s National Celebration of Pro Bono. The ABA launched the National Celebration of Pro Bono because of the increasing need for pro bono services during harsh economic times and the unprecedented response of attorneys to meet this demand. The National Celebration of Pro Bono is an annual opportunity to shine a spotlight on the amazing pro bono work by lawyers, paralegals, and law students across the country.
MassMutual began its own Pro Bono Week celebration in 2021, to inspire pro bono work during the pandemic. MassMutual has continued annual Pro Bono Week celebrations since 2021, coinciding with National Pro Bono Week.
MassMutual has had a host of different events during its Pro Bono Weeks, including keynote speakers, training sessions on different programs, and dedicated time to perform pro bono activities.
